Sony PS calles for pitch

As ADWEEK reported that, Sony entertainment America will call for pitch for its core brand PlayStation, which saw as an blow to TBWA\Chiat\Day.
TBWA\ has handle the 100 million iconic accounts from 1994, Creative director Jerry Gentile supervised the creative for nine years until 2006, when he deferred to associate creative directors Brett Craig and Nick Davidge.

In September 2005, Andrew House was named to the new post of global chief marketing officer at Sony Corp. and relinquished supervision over the PlayStation marketing, splitting his time between Foster City and Tokyo and reporting to Sony chairman and CEO Howard Stringer and Ryoji Chubachi, president and CEO of Sony Electronics. EVP Jack Tretton has been leading marketing at SCEA since then.

Omnicom Group has tried to retain the account within its network, but the client had hire an contsultancy to lead an review.

北美SONY就PS的广告传播业务进行比稿,PS业务一直是Omnicom Group 旗下的TBWA进行全面代理的,巴黎TBWA也任借这一重量级客户在全球各大广告奖上心大有斩获。不知道是否因为目前PS业务状况欠佳的缘故,使得SCEA要求换广告代理商。
