关于ps3作为BD播放器，貌似很多朋友都对此嗤之以鼻，不过自从ps3发售后，关于其BD播放功能受到的评论绝对是褒大大大于贬（非ps3用户乱贬的除外）。当然，部分一两万的专门BD播放器在表现力上自然胜于ps3，可是今天发行的加勒比海盗1、2BD却让这些昂贵的专门播放器相当郁闷，以下是amazon的用户评论：

Looks guys I am going to put plain and simple. This disc is completely java authoring for Disc 1 and it only works properly in the PS3. If you have the Samsung or even Sonys own 1000 player you will be very disapointed when your movie may actually play after literally 10 min of previews and loading menus. Blu-ray is years behind HD DVD and hopefully it will catch up very soon. I am sad to see that a great movie series has been released only in a Java authoring counting that all the users will be PS3 users. You always program for the lowest demonator in this case it was programmed for only one player and the rest of the players can spend their time trying to catch up. Not a good idea to launch the format. This needs to change.


java authoring的BD只有在ps3上才工作正常。在三星，索尼型号为1000的高价播放器上，光读个菜单要10分钟……

继运行linux和支持fold@home之后，让用户选择ps3的第三个重大理由。
