因为当年投篮很弱，臂展长篮板弹跳很好（类似樱木），深受加州人民喜爱

当年被狗熊黑8，波波想加强3号位提速，因为Jefferson实在太烂，RC说这小孩子不错，不过最后要交易George Hill因为是波波未来最爱，两人还是打颤很久选秀前一天才拍板

谁知道来了之后，波波才发现卡哇伊的特别之处，学习能力强，态度好，进步神速。这是今年得了DPOY之后接受记者采访的时候说的，在nba.com上，贴出视频估计楼主也听不懂我就懒得找了。

不过波波早在2012年波波说了如下一段话：

最开始只是类似丹尼格林一样的3D球员而已，偶尔下快攻扣一下篮。

主要这人够谦虚，也爱学习，进步太快
