At the recent Tokyo Auto Salon, Honda's in-house tuner, Mugen, unveiled a Mugen Civic Type RR Experimental Spec.
Featuring a front bumper made entirely from light-weight carbon fibre; an unpainted aluminium bonnet; and exclusive Mugen wheels with semi-slick tyres hiding massive Brembo brakes, the heart of the car lies with the stroked K20A engine which develops 260PS of power and 235Nm of torque from its 2.157-litre capacity.
The Experimental Spec also features the i-TCMS or Intelligent-Tire Condition Monitoring System which should prove very useful on the track.
Interior-wise, the Mugen Civic RR is dominated by carbon-fibre and a pair of smoking hot Mugen Recaro bucket seats.
