Atari has dated forthcoming Starbreeze FPS package Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Butcher, which will be on sale in Europe on April 24.

The North American date for the shooter, which includes an updated version of Xbox classic Escape from Butcher Bay, as well as follow-up Assault on Dark Athena and multiplayer, is a little earlier on April 7.

"Playable demos" will be coming to Xbox Live and PSN in March, Atari has confirmed.

If you've read our hands-on you'll know that the sequel package is shaping up very well indeed.

It's worth it alone for the updated version of Escape from Butcher Bay, if we're being honest.
