MANCHESTER UNITED are monitoring Arsenal star Robin van Persie.
Sir Alex Ferguson is aware the ?0million-rated striker is yet to commit to a new contract at The Emirates.

And the United chief's interest has intensified after Van Persie admitted prizes mean more to him than money.

He recently admitted: "In the last four years I've won only one prize, the FA Cup, and that is too little. I want more."

Van Persie has one year left on his current deal.

The Gunners have offered the Dutchman ?0,000 a week, considerably less than Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand earn at Old Trafford.

But Van Persie, 26, is more interested in who boss Arsene Wenger plans to sign this summer than the money on the table.

He said: "Financially the offer is fine but that is not everything to me. It's about my ambition and how that can be fulfilled."

United are not the only club watching with interest - Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho is also keen.

A Dutch source added: "Robin loves it at Arsenal but he is getting to the age when he wants to win things. He knows that there are clubs interested in him and is waiting to see what happens."

Van Persie signed for Arsenal five years ago but injuries have restricted him to 79 League starts.

小毒瘤估计是谣言，我联和利物浦现在处于老死不相往来的状态，上次海因策转会闹这么凶还是给爵爷搞黄了，利物浦更加不可能放自己当家球星去对手那里了.....
强奸犯转会的可能性倒大些，爵爷和温格现在惺惺相惜颇有基情，由于枪手近来的成绩糟糕互相之间的直接竞争关系也不是那么激烈。一家甩掉大龄玻璃男包袱，一家获得强力中锋作阵容补充，听上去还是蛮合理的。

我想问的是，新赛季谁来罚任意球，走了纱布罗，还有纱布罗在曼联以前不是和范尼曾经吵过？范尼赏了一巴掌给他，现在又聚在一起，准备逆袭

范尼在皇马的清洗名单里，等CR度假结束到马德里报道时范尼可能已经回到英超了，定位球，如果小哈赛季开始后伤病问题解决了，肯定他第一主罚，还有个tosic据说定位球也不错。

哈格据说还有半年才能复出
