The C-virus has also given rise to the Chrysalide, which take the mutation process even further as they can undergo a full metamorphosis; spawning a whole host of horrific creatures

Mercenaries returns - Players will once more be able to enjoy the highly popular Mercenaries Mode

Redesigned control system – Resident Evil 6 features an evolved control system allowing players to shoot while moving; slide; roll in any direction and to take cover, along with the addition of an enhanced melee attack

Demo coming with Dragon’s Dogma – Purchasers of Dragon’s Dogma, scheduled for release on May 22 in North America and May 25 across Europe, will receive a token allowing them to download the Resident Evil 6 demo, from July 3 for Xbox 360 owners and September 4 for PS3

　　《生化危机6》终于正式公布了新情报！游戏对应PS3、XBOX360和PC平台，欧美版预定2012年11月20日发售，日版预定2012年11月22日发售。

　　《生化危机6》的剧情发生在《生化危机2》的10年后，主角则是里昂和克里斯[《生化4》中的总统千金阿什丽（IGN消息为生化2威廉博士的女儿Sherry Birkin/雪莉·博肯）也有露面]，这也开创了生化系列的先河(主角皆为男性)，替代之前的男女搭档组合。游戏的主要舞台设在美国和中国。除了里昂和克里斯外，还有两位同样可由玩家操作的角色，一位是全新角色[从目前掌握的情报来看是阿什丽（Sherry Birkin/雪莉·博肯）雇的佣兵]，一位则是艾达王，游戏的剧情会用这4位角色的视点来述说。

　　本作有些像《生化危机：启示录》一样，每位主角会有一名随行的同伴[从预告片中唯一已判明的一对组合是阿什丽（Sherry Birkin/雪莉·博肯）与其雇佣兵]。从IGN方面得到的信息来看，里昂和克里斯在游戏中有着不同的故事章节，在里昂、克里斯、新角色的剧情完结后，艾达王的剧情才会开始，但在某种程度上最终交织在一起。

　　从游戏气氛的营造还有系统方面来看，《生化6》将是四代和五代的结合体，《生化4》被多数人认为是系列里冒险和战斗结合最好的作品，生化5则是更倾向于动作射击的爽快性，评论有褒有贬但都以正面评价为主。值得一提的是，从外媒获取到的信息中我们得知《生化危机6》的开发项目并没有像《鬼泣》新作那样外包给欧美的工作室，仍然由CAPCOM日本本部的开发团队负责。游戏的品质应该更有保证。

XBOX360/PS3版预定于今年10月推出，PC版推出时间未定。貌似有比鬼武者3更复杂的4主角剧情，除了里昂、克里斯、Ada Wong外，还有一个新角色。

The internet buzz is true - Resident Evil 6 is indeed in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.That detail may not be too shocking considering the level of speculation churning over the past few days, but we can also confirm RE6 pairs Leon S Kennedy and Chris Redfield together, and is scheduled for release on November 20, 2012

Zombies. Outbreaks. BOW outbreaks across the world. The looming threat of global bioterrorism is finally a reality, with our roster of capable heroes forced to confront this horrific scenario head on. Based on the trailer, we can see Leon investigating a small town that's suffered a Raccoon City-like infestation, while Chris heads to China for an all-out assault on the front lines. These two play styles merge to form what executive producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi calls "dramatic horror," which fuses action, tension and scares in a brand new way.

"It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack.  With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world’s population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left."
