但是诺兰最后没同意，于是他们回收了资源把包装改成了魔戒世界观
作为佐证，Neogaf有人曾在2012年提到开发组Monolith做过《黑暗骑士崛起》的游戏

最早是诺兰电影改编游戏，中途换成指环王题材

这游戏就是个蝙蝠侠无双兽人MOD
蝙蝠侠是混战和潜入对半分，而且潜入是强迫潜入，硬拼的话很快会被枪打死
而中土你潜入失败掏剑直接干就是了
强化了混战要素，但潜入变得很弱
