From 2022 to 2024, the largest handheld gaming PCs were sold in a total volume of 6 million units, reports The Verge, citing a study by IDC. The best-selling item was the Steam Deck.

According to IDC estimates, by the end of 2024, total sales of the Steam Deck reached 3.7 million units. By February 2025, they might have surpassed 4 million units
