The NBA issued no penalties on Thursday but is investigating the fracas in the second half of the Rockets game at the Phoenix Suns, NBA spokesman Tim Frank said.

Rockets guard Rafer Alston and Suns forward Matt Barnes were ejected after Barnes, who led the NBA in flagrant fouls last season, ran over Alston while Alston set a screen for Tracy McGrady.

McGrady, Shaquille O'Neal and Steve Nash received technical fouls for their roles in the ensuing scuffle.
