Quark: Leader of Elza's mercenary group, earned the trust of the group through skilled combat and employee negotiations, like an older brother to Elza, the pair has been together since youth

Seiren: Moodmaker of the group, fights with twin blades, drinks and curses a lot, considerate of her allies, squad leader, enjoys fighting, willing to take the front lines, wears a revealing outfit that provides heavy armor for her legs and lower arms

Yuris: Cool magician, uses fire magic in combat, youngest member of the group, most skilled member as well, doesn't speak very much, treats his mercenary work as a means of survival

- move around in real time
- freeze time to input battle commands
- attack enemies not just head on, but with other approaches as well
- 'Focus' move allows you to lock-on to an enemy
- Use focus on enemies and objects
- focus on an object to have Elza fire the bow gun
- enemies that are being focused on have their weak points revealed
- Elza attacks mostly with his sword, but the bow gun is for long-range attacks
- use focus to hunt out enemy healers, then sneak along walls/boulders to take them out using focus
- camera switches to behind-the-shoulder view for focus attacks
- a target will also pop up when in this view
- focus on objects to take out enemies
- for example, focus on a bridge carrying enemies in order to have a teammate cast magic on the bridge, destroying it and the enemies all at once
- make boulders fall on groups of enemies
