Nintendo Sells 13.6 Million Nintendogs In its recent financial report, Nintendo said that it has sold 13.6 million copies of Nintendogs for Nintendo DS worldwide. That is one big litter of virtual puppies.
To put this in perspective, Nintendo's Brain Age software has moved 12 million units so far, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas around 16. Nintendogs' success has been absolutely amazing -- not bad for a product that was initially seen as proof that Nintendo had gone off the deep end.
