Just answering the question that if Microsoft was "assuming" there is a new model PS5 coming out this year.
not interesting to discuss when and how to use the word "announce".
Again, based on courtroom ethics, media reactions and English grammar, it's nonsense to believe that Microsoft just bet on the upcoming new model PS5 with details like price and launch time.
BTW you can keep changing subjects as you like.

这一点上我比较赞同杠神的观点 无论出于什么理由（价格劣势or全球汇率影响or市场景气or普及XGP）XSX的出货数量更大的可能是主观上被压低的

我也提到了XSS在混数量啊
但是还记得首发的时候第三方做的拆解么，XSS在那个价位对于微软其实比XSX更不舒服
然而微软还是要支持XSS，一方面是2020-2021年确实PS5和XSX的产能都有问题，这时候XSS可以抢占更多市场
巴西微软发出来的数据已经证明了的确有很多人是买不到PS5才买XSS的（其实2021年连PS4都不那么好买），当然这不意味着他们永远不会买PS5

而现在1TB版XSS的推出，本质上是解决价位和成本之间的矛盾
加的那点容量成本远不及售价的提升，这样微软就能更舒服的卖XSS了

所以1TB版出的前后你说故意压低XSX我绝对相信
之前的话，应该没那么刻意

I have said clearly from the very start that use of “announce” is clickbait and inaccurate.
And it is you who use this word in the first place.

The interpretation from verge shows for native speakers, considering the context, the quotes from the court document are predictions and anticipations. You can teach them whatever grammar you like…

Microsoft made a reasonable anticipation based on current gen products and patterns from previous generations. And you tried conceptual shift to mispresent my point by using betting or guessing.

xss 抢市场要打折，很可能还会买ps5 当主力，游戏消费潜力有限，等对手供货正常后更是帮倒忙

何况xss 长期不缺货，调整一下出货比例更有利于扩大用户量

要是xss 月月爆卖供不应求，微软再考虑怎么让xsx为小弟让路不迟…

You lectured that "expected to release" means they are nothing but some assumptions,
as in "微软怎么知道ps5卖不卖slim，文件是指内部有一些预测，原文也写的是指预计可能发售。"
which is totally ridiculous and even a 5th grade student could get that nuance.   
And for a thousandth time, no shit was never given to who or when or how to use the word "announce" and it has nothing to do with the so-called "原文也写的是指预计可能发售。", period.
